The Honey Badger

This video documentary on the honey badger ranks up there with the all time best! I came across this on the Sportsman Living website, www.sportsmanliving.com and couldn't resist throwing it up on the blog.

It's amazing what a twist in commentary can do to a show typically reserved for little more than soothing background noise while prepping that Sunday afternoon nap on the couch. More people need to think outside the box when presenting educational material like this. Although I've always been a fan of National Geographic and Discovery Channel, these shows are missing out on engaging a large portion of the population due to the dull approach in which they present the material. Usually it's some douche with a British accent talking in a whisper like he's right there with the creature. A video in this format captures the educational components in a compelling manner that will certainly be recalled by viewers. So much so that you will never forget what a honey badger is for the rest of your life after watching this video!

National Geographic - mission accomplished!

A Shot of Inspiration

Human Achievement is Amazing. I found this video fascinating and the following quote equally as impressive. It's this kind of mindful inspiration that drives success.

Am I a fool at this late date,
To heed a voice that says, "You can be great"
I heard it young, now I hear it again,
It says, "You can be better than you've ever been"

You're Kidding... Right?

Afraid not. This is the real deal...
A restaurant in London is planning on serving breast milk ice cream called "Baby Gaga".  The expensive treat will cost £14 pounds ($23 US dollars) a serving. Where does this breast milk come from?  Mothers answered an ad that was placed online and are selling their milk to the restaurant for £15 pounds for every 10 ounces of milk.
One of the donating mothers said she believes if adults realized how tasty breast milk actually is, then new mothers would be more willing to breast-feed their own newborns.  Do moms really decline breast feeding because they don't know how good it tastes?  That is a ludicrous concept.  She also said, "What's the harm in using my assets for a bit of extra cash?"  Now we're all on the same page!

Baby Gaga is said to "melt in the mouth".  The recipe blends breast milk with Madagascan vanilla pods and lemon zest.  Churn it a bit and you have ice cream.  They are planning more new flavors to serve up to the public.

Free-range, organic, natural, milk.  What's not to like?
My only regret is that I didn't think of this first... Having four kids, I could have made a fortune! LOL, not to suggest my wife is my Blue Bell! Perhaps I should correct the statement and say, "SHE could have made a fortune."

Perceiving Circumstance?

I've created this blog to introduce my thoughts and perspectives on the circumstances that are taking place in the world today. This could include anything from discussing the perceived mindset of slow drivers that maintain their place in the left lane, to thought provoking marketing tactics that should be implemented by mexican restauranteurs.

By lampooning the actions, thoughts and perceptions of others, I will shed light and clarity on the most irrelevant events, topics and occurrences taking place today.

All in good humor...
